About Diana

I grew up thinking I needed less.

Because of my parents and cultural upbringing, I thought that the way to show love was by giving all you could to those around you was by giving everything you had to those you loved. And in doing so, you asked for very little in return.

I also learned back then that love was conditional. It was given after you’d achieved something meaningful, so I focused on being perceived as “successful” in my academic and professional lives.

But inside, I felt lost. I didn’t know who I was. I didn’t know how to connect meaningfully with others. I had succeeded at putting on a mask of success, but felt as though no one really understood or saw me.

I turned to dating for validation.

I sought out relationships that I thought would give me the affirmation and reassurance I needed to feel confident. Instead, I would just burn myself out every time. I gave, and gave, and gave, but still felt the same void inside my chest. Each partner left, and I still felt like I was invisible to the world.

I realized I couldn’t fulfill my desire for connection by seeking out validation in others. I needed to also look inside myself.

It took me many years of reading self-help books, going to therapy, breaking old patterns, and learning new skills, but eventually, I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t feel the need to make myself small anymore. I also have more fulfillment in my relationships - not just seeking out love in romantic relationships, but finding the love I sought in platonic ones too.

It took me a long time to learn how to get here, but I hope that I can help save you from the pain and heartache I faced.

I grew up thinking I needed less, but now I see that I deserve so much more, and you do too.

As a coach, I bring years of experience and growth in learning about psychology and motivational science (I actually applied those principles as a product manager on tech products like Android and Coursera!).

I’ve also completed Core training at the Somatica Institute, where I learned experiential-based coaching practices that were highlighted in the BBC’s acclaimed show, Virgin Island.

I’m most motivated and excited by opportunities where I can directly see people transform to fulfill their fullest potential, and I hope that I can help you see that in yourself too.
